Dennis Seidenberg’s day with the Cup
Seidenberg with the Cup in Vancouver after game seven.
Bruins blue-liner Dennis Seidenberg took the Stanley Cup to Atlantic City for the day. Unlike the team’s other Europeans, he opted to remain in the States, owing to the young age of his daughters and his wife’s pregnancy. The homecoming is so often a cheerful and emotional event, but Seidenberg went for the lighter, more festive gathering. According to the piece, the Villingen-Schwenningen native has spent many a summer in Atlantic City. He invited old teammates, friends and families to a gathering near the beach, with grilling. Earlier in the day he went out on a sport-boat with his father. And took photos from a helicopter. It may seem a little odd, but why not? It’s a celebration, and it shouldn’t matter where it is.
